With a dream of joining a community of health care professionals, Alisha completed a degree in Physiotherapy in 2018. On her path of becoming a successful Physiotherapist, she studied Fitness and Health Promotion in Rehabilitation. She is currently registered and accredited with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario.

Dean is a graduate of Fanshawe College's Massage Therapy program and has a background in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Sciences. Dean's style is adaptive and versatile; he can identify the underlying cause of pain and develop a treatment plan to complement those of his fellow healthcare practitioners.

Phil Genesis

Growing up in the Markham-Stouffville area, Phil went on to graduate from the University of Toronto with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2012. His clinical internship was completed with a distinction for exemplary performance in outpatient orthopaedic physiotherapy. His proven skills in manual therapy and exercise prescription allow him to design and deliver effective treatment plans. Phil’s strong academic and clinical background, along with his continuing education courses within the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy (Level 3), medical acupuncture, concussion rehab, and athletic taping, lead to positive outcomes in helping his patients reach a full functional recovery.

Alisha Jiwani

With a dream of joining a community of health care professionals, Alisha completed a degree in Physiotherapy in 2018. On her path of becoming a successful Physiotherapist, she studied Fitness and Health Promotion in Rehabilitation. She is currently registered and accredited with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario. She has worked in a variety of different settings such as long-term care homes, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. She is particularly interested in sports and neurological injuries and is continually building upon her skills and techniques. Alisha is very kind and patient and focuses on client satisfaction in the recovery process. With a friendly approach, her goal is to help patients reach a functional level of recovery. In her leisure, Alisha enjoys cooking and listening to music.

Kent is trained in a variety of assessment methods and massage therapy techniques which allow him to confidently develop a personalized treatment plan for each patient.

Kevon Ho

Kevin completed his Master of Science in Physiotherapy from University College Dublin in Ireland. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo. Kevin has worked with different patient populations in a variety of clinical settings, including outpatient orthopaedics, acute medical care, stroke rehabilitation, cancer care, and geriatrics. He is a strong proponent of an evidence-based and holistic approach to managing injuries. He offers advice on symptom management, pain science education, and manual therapy in conjunction with exercise to help patients return to a pain-free lifestyle. Kevin believes that continuing education is a must for any clinician. He intends to take additional courses to further his skills in manual therapy, acupuncture, and vestibular physiotherapy. Outside of work, Kevin maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys rock climbing, running, and hiking. Some of his fitness goals include completing his first marathon in under 3 and a half hours, and summiting Mt. Fuji in Japan. In his free time, Kevin also enjoys expressing himself creatively through photography, cooking, and telling dad jokes.

Dean loves a puzzle and using his problem-solving skills to find suitable treatment options. He has a passion for educating his clients about how they can improve their quality of life and is always open to questions about pain and the human body.

Luxman Yogesparan

Graduating with a Bachelors of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary, Luxman brings a wide array of skills and experience working with various demographics. He has a high affinity for physical activity and has played several sports at a high level during his childhood. This led to a passion for exercise, strength, and fitness training. Luxman is excited to work with patients to help them with their recovery. He strongly believes in continuing education and is working towards becoming a physiotherapist in the future.

Mary Liu

Mary Liu is a graduate from the Pharma-Medical Science College of Canada. She is a Registered Massage Therapist who has also studied Aromatherapy, and is a member of the International Federation of Aromatherapists. Mary specializes in Swedish massage, deep tissue work, and myofascial release. She is skilled in a variety of techniques to alleviate stress and pain. Mary firmly believes that human health consists of physical and mental health, and she hopes to use her knowledge and skills to reduce pain, anxiety, and stress.

Rachel Grundy

Rachel graduated with a Physiotherapy Assistant and Occupational Therapy Assistant diploma from Georgian College. She has physio experience in a wide variety of clinical settings, such as outpatient rehab and long term care. She comes from an athletic background being involved in basketball and track and field. Rachel is excited to join the Beacon Hill team in Stouffville. She prides herself in building excellent rapport with patients, and is eager to create a positive environment where patients feel comfortable.

Ken Weinberg

Dr. Weinberg has been a Chiropodist since 1984. He specializes in all disorders related to the foot and ankle. Through gait analysis and biomechanical examination, he determines if these disorders may be related to the knee, hip, or low back. Dr. Weinberg treats many conditions through orthotic devices. He takes a plaster cast with the feet in proper alignment to ensure proper construction of the orthotic. The majority of insurance companies cover the cost of custom orthotics with the prescription of a chiropodist.
