Aron Brant

Aron received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2006 and Masters of Physical Therapy in 2008, from McMaster University. Since graduating he has become certified in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture and has received post-graduate training in various soft tissue and manual therapy techniques. He is focused on treating patients holistically and combines a variety of treatment approaches to maximize patient recovery.

James Corkal

Jamie graduated from Queen's University with his Master’s of Physical Therapy in 2016. He spent the first two years of his physiotherapy career in Kelowna, British Columbia expanding his skills and focusing on client-centric care. Throughout his time in Kelowna he gained valuable experience in pain management and has helped many people return to pain-free active living. Jamie moved back to London in September 2018 to continue his physiotherapy career and be closer to friends and family. Currently, his caseload includes post-surgical rehabilitation (ACL reconstruction, total knee replacement, total hip replacement and rotator cuff repair), pain management (back pain and chronic pain), WSIB and MVA injuries. In addition to musculoskeletal injuries, Jamie is qualified to treat clients who have balance and dizziness disorders (vertigo) and individuals with post-concussion symptoms. Prior to his physiotherapy career, Jamie completed a Masters of Exercise Physiology from Western University with a specialization in cardiovascular and musculoskeletal responses to exercise. Apart from his clinical work, Jamie teaches at Western University in the School of Physical Therapy at the rank of Lecturer. He enjoys working with aspiring physiotherapy students and young volunteers who are interested in health and rehabilitation.

Melanie Cowger

After completing an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Western Ontario, Melanie began her massage therapy training at the D’Arcy Lane Institute in London, Ontario in 2001. She wasregistered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in 2002 and has enjoyed practicing in a variety of settings, including the Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic, as well as chiropractic, physiotherapy and massage therapy clinics. Melanie has extensive experience treating a wide array of conditions, with additional training in shoulder mobility, Craniosacral Therapy and Thai massage. In addition to her clinical practice, Melanie has held teaching positions with the D’Arcy Lane Institute and St. George’s University, teaching classes in Anatomy and Physiology as well as Basic Sciences. Melanie and her family have recently returned to London after several years abroad, and she is thrilled to join the team at Preferred Rehab Physiotherapy.

Jessica PT

Jessica graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2016 from Western University with a piqued interest in rehabilitation after volunteering as an athletic trainer for the varsity program. She continued her education at Western and completed her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2018. Throughout her university placements, Jessica gained skills and experience working with a variety of patient populations including concussion, stroke, surgical, chronic pain, sport, and pediatrics. Jessica has a passion for helping others achieve their optimum quality of life using creative and goal-oriented treatment programs. Having grown up in Haldimand County, she is excited to be returning to help her home community by joining the Argyle Physio and Fitness interdisciplinary team.
