Growing up in the Markham-Stouffville area, Phil went on to graduate from the University of Toronto with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2012. His clinical internship was completed with a distinction for exemplary performance in outpatient orthopaedic physiotherapy.

Since graduating from the University of Toronto, Sue has provided treatment in a wide variety of settings including hospitals and outpatient clinics. Sue has added to her portfolio of services by now offering the GLA:D program. GLA:D provides treatment for patients with osteoarthritis as well as preparing people who are to undergo joint replacement surgery.

Colleen's focus is a holistic approach to neurological rehabilitation of adults and children with complex neurological and traumatic injuries and conditions.

Kris completed his Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto and his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University. Kris has over 10 years of experience treating a variety of injuries and chronic conditions. His goal is to return people to their optimal level of function and improve their fitness levels.

Yan is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and a has a passion for massage therapy, health, and wellness. She joins this Stouffville team with many years of massage experience. Yan specializes in Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, trigger point therapy and hot stone massage.

Alan is a Registered Massage Therapist that has been working in the rehab field for over 10 years. Prior to becoming an RMT, Alan worked as an Athletic Therapist in many multidisciplinary clinics.

Jordan is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from Humber College. He has experience treating high-level athletes and enjoys treating those living with chronic injuries. Jordan's treatment philosophy is ``one size does not fit all``; he strives to create unique treatment plans for all his patients.

His proven skills in manual therapy and exercise prescription allow him to design and deliver effective treatment plans. Phil’s strong academic and clinical background, along with his continuing education courses within the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy (Level 3), medical acupuncture, concussion rehab, and athletic taping, lead to positive outcomes in helping his patients reach a full functional recovery. Sue Gerrard

Since graduating from the University of Toronto, Sue has provided treatment in a wide variety of settings including hospitals and outpatient clinics. She has vast experience in the treatment of orthopaedic conditions and has a special interest in total joint replacement rehabilitation. Under the new management of Stouffville Joint Venture Physiotherapy, Sue continues to provide the same compassionate service as always. Notably, Sue has added to her portfolio of services by now offering the GLA:D program. GLA:D provides treatment for patients with osteoarthritis as well as preparing people who are to undergo joint replacement surgery. In her spare time, Sue enjoys meeting people, gardening and spending time with her family.

Darryl Arizapa

Darryl believes in performing a thorough assessment, and empowering his patients through education so they truly understand their condition and what is needed to get better. Darryl relies on evidenced-based exercises, and hands-on therapy to achieve his patient’s goals and improve their quality of life. During his free time, he enjoys paying with his kids, dancing, and spending time outdoors.

Colleen graduated from Physiotherapy at the University of Western Ontario in 1991 and has extensive clinical experience including charitable work in Africa doing community-based rehabilitation. Colleen's focus is a holistic approach to neurological rehabilitation of adults and children with complex neurological and traumatic injuries and conditions. She is trained in a variety of specialized courses including Neurodevelopmental Treatment / Bobath, Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization. Colleen's outside interests include travel, camping, hiking and biking with her family.

Kris has over 10 years of experience treating a variety of injuries and chronic conditions. His goal is to return people to their optimal level of function and improve their fitness levels. His treatment approach is based on thorough assessments, evidence-based hands-on treatments and personalized functional exercises. Treatment sessions incorporate techniques from advanced post-graduate courses including Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT), Barefoot Rehab Specialist, Mulligan Techniques, and Neuro-proprioceptive Taping. Kris focuses on empowering his patients through education of their condition and a long-term plan to prevent further injury or recurrences.

Alan is a Registered Massage Therapist that has been working in the rehab field for over 10 years. Prior to becoming an RMT, Alan worked as an Athletic Therapist in many multidisciplinary clinics, which means he brings a unique skillset into his treatments. Alan's treatment approach is simple: find the cause, treat the cause! When he's not working, Alan enjoys exercising and playing basketball.

Each massage is custom to a clients individual needs, and is delivered with a very caring and professional demeanour. Yan’s other passions in life include spending time outdoors, traveling, fitness, animals and spending time with family and friends.

She has a thorough understanding of the human body and is enthusiastic about helping patients achieve their goals and returning to daily activities. Christina is passionate about staying active and healthy, and enjoys sharing that knowledge with her patients.
