Darryl graduated from the University of Toronto in with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. He later completed a Master’s in Clinical Science at Western University and became a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapists. He is a consultant for orthopaedic and neurosurgeons and has a special interest in hip and spine.

Amberly Horton PT

As a former competitive dancer and athlete, Amberly developed a passion for human movement and physical fitness. She continually strives to provide evidence-based treatments that target individual patient needs and goals. Amberly believes continual education is an essential component of physical therapy practice. She has developed a special interest in orthopaedic and pelvic health physiotherapy, and is enthusiastic about learning new skills in these areas. Amberly is an active participant in the Physiotherapy profession. She currently resides on the executive of the Private Practice Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and frequently mentors Physiotherapy students and new graduates. Amberly grew up in a small town and remains a country girl at heart. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors, fishing and relaxing on the beach or by a bonfire.

Emilie Paletta PT

Emilie attended the University of Waterloo to complete a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, and completed her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2016. Throughout her life, Emilie was drawn to sports and was fascinated by the human body which led her down the path of pursuing a career in physical therapy. Emilie's treatment style is focused on achieving patient goals through active rehabilitation in a way that compliments the lifestyle of each individual patient. In this ever changing world, Emilie is always seeking current information in the field to provide her patients with up-to-date treatments and education. She completed the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program in 2017, and continues to take relevant courses in an effort to develop comprehensive treatment plans for her patients. When Emilie is not in the clinic, you can find her on the soccer field or training for a marathon.

Brittany believes in using the best available evidence to equip patient with both the knowledge and skills related to their management plan to succeed. She uses a combination of hands on therapy with therapeutic exercise prescription to deliver care and promote active rehab. If Brittany is not at Waterview she is likely in the kitchen trying new dishes, reading or spending time with her dog on local trails.

Outside the clinic, you’ll find Jordan getting outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and competing in ultimate frisbee.

Vikas Vaja

Vikas is a Registered Physiotherapist with a wealth of experience in the field of physical therapy. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy in 2009 and furthered his education by obtaining a Diploma Degree in Fitness & Health Promotion. Throughout his career, Vikas has worked across a spectrum of healthcare settings, including acute care hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and physiotherapy colleges as a tutor. His practice encompasses a wide range of specialties, including MSK (Musculoskeletal), Cardiorespiratory, Neurological, Neuro Pediatrics, as well as Pre-op & Post-op rehabilitation. Vikas has also contributed his expertise to long-term and retirement homes, ensuring comprehensive care across diverse patient demographics. Vikas is particularly passionate about manual therapy techniques and muscle retraining to address joint biomechanics and correct movement dysfunction. He has developed extensive experience in post-operative protocols and rehabilitation programs, aiding patients in their recovery journeys. Outside of his professional commitments, Vikas finds joy in exploring his culinary skills by cooking various dishes and unwinding to the melodies of music during his free time.

Emily believes in delivering care that is patient specific and evidence based. She uses a combination of hands on therapy, joint mobilizations, modalities, and therapeutic exercise prescription. Emily also prioritizes patient education and promotes self efficacy so patients can take an active role in their own recovery management. Emily thrives with the challenges of neurological conditions as she has experience working with people who have brain injuries. Additionally Emily is very well equipped to manage sports related injuries as she is very active herself. Emily loves to hike, play spike ball, volleyball and has a special passion for gymnastics & cheerleading, spending her time coaching and being an athlete herself!

Saravanan is a resident physiotherapist with a PhD in Physiotherapy from the University of Western Ontario, Canada. He has gained broad clinical experience working in both India and the United Kingdom. His work spans a range of settings, including NHS hospitals where he has contributed to surgical, acute care, cardiac rehabilitation, and oncology departments, as well as outpatient orthopedic clinics. Saravanan’s clinical focus includes the management of complex musculoskeletal conditions, post-surgical and post-fracture rehabilitation, and the rehabilitation of athletes recovering from injuries. He is dedicated to providing evidence-based physiotherapy care aimed at optimizing strength, mobility, and functional recovery. His holistic, patient-centered approach is tailored to the individual, with an emphasis on achieving long-term recovery and enhancing overall quality of life. Outside of his clinical practice, Saravanan values spending time with his family and pursuing a balanced lifestyle.

Dr. Kerry graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic after completing an Honours Bachelors of Science Kinesiology degree from McMaster University. Dr. Kerry provides a variety of chiropractic services, such as spinal manipulation, soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, rehabilitation exercises, and lifestyle guidance. She has further education in Acupuncture through the McMaster Medical Acupuncture Program. She is also very passionate about chiropractic care for pregnant moms, babies, and kids ensuring the whole family is well cared for. She is Webster Certified through the ICPA and has a special interest and experience in treating children. Whether it is birth trauma, slips and trips, or sports injuries, Dr. Kerry wants to ensure your little ones are supported from the start! Dr. Kerry emphasizes the value of actively listening and evaluating each individual to create tailored treatment plans that address the root causes of pain and discomfort, enabling people to live their lives to the fullest. On her off time, Dr. Kerry can be found exploring new trails for hiking, doing yoga or pilates and spending time with family and friends!

Dr. Aaron Cocklin

Dr. Aaron comes to Waterview Physiotherapy & Health Centre with over 23 years of experience as a chiropractor having practiced within both the USA and Canada and for the past 10 years in Niagara Falls. In his care, he utilizes an evidence-based and integrated approach when treating and assessing his patients with the goal of reducing pain and dysfunction, restoring movement and quality of life while at the same time preventing future injuries. This is achieved through individualized and personal care plans for each patient that incorporate a combination of hands-on and instrument based chiropractic adjustments, manual manipulations and adjustments, various soft-tissue techniques and active rehabilitation exercises. In his personal and spare time, Dr. Aaron enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends and participating in outdoor activities such as hiking, running, cycling and inline skating.

Dr. Tanner Gibson

Dr. Tanner was born and raised in Acton, California, and recently relocated after living in Tampa, Florida. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Biology from Bethel University (Indiana) in 2020 and completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida in 2024.He is specially trained through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) to screen golfers for limitations and improve golf mechanics and game. Dr. Gibson focuses on hands-on chiropractic care, combining manual adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and rehabilitation exercises to help patients recover from injuries, enhance performance, and prevent future issues. With a background in sports chiropractic and a special interest in golf rehabilitation, he works with a wide range of patients, from athletes to families. He believes the best part of chiropractic care is helping people get back to doing what they love. In his free time, Dr. Gibson enjoys playing soccer, golfing, staying active outdoors, and exploring new places with family and friends.

From athletic environments to clinical settings, to hospitals, Welly has encountered many individuals to both assess and treat. When Welly is not in the clinic, you can find her in nature, camping, paddle boarding and hiking, or in the kitchen baking up a delicious treat.

If you can’t find Rebecca treating patients or working in aquatics, you can find them camping, hiking, and kayaking all over Ontario!

Darryl graduated from the University of Toronto in with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. He later completed a Master’s in Clinical Science at Western University and became a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapists. He is currently the Director of Quality, Risk, Patient Experience and Therapy Services at the Brant Community Health System. He is a consultant for orthopaedic and neurosurgeons and has a special interest in hip and spine. He has co-authored multiple publications, a text book and has presented at over 50 conferences and courses throughout Canada and Internationally. Darryl is the professor of the Business and Entrepreneurship in Physical Therapy course at Western University. He also lectures at McMaster University, University of Toronto and Queen’s University​ on business and practice management topics. ​He is the founder of Mentorship Bootcamp, a program ​offering business training and career ​coaching to clinicians.
